Walsh: Plays One $26.32 ex GST

The first six astonishing plays by ‘one of the most dazzling wordsmiths of contemporary theatre' Guardian.

Bursting onto the theatre scene in 1996 with Disco Pigs, Enda Walsh has delivered a sustained fusillade of strikingly original plays ever since. This volume, with a Foreword by the author, contains:

The Ginger Ale Boy
Walsh's very first, previously unpublished play, is a Cork cabaret about a ventriloquist who loses control.

Disco Pigs
Walsh's award-winning play about two warped teenagers that confirmed his place in the forefront of young Irish dramatists.

A strange and haunting monologue about a man whose confused mission is to bring God to his fellow townsfolk of Inishfree.

A ferocious two-hander about a father-daughter relationship gone horribly and terrifyingly wrong.

The Small Things
A fierce and devastating fable about enforced silence.

A chilling tale of teenage manipulation.

Also included are two previously unpublished short plays, How These Desperate Men Talk ( 2004) and Lynndie's Gotta Gun (2005).

Cast : The Ginger Ale Boy - 5M, 5F / Disco Pigs - 1M, 1F / Misterman - 1m + 2F speaking in voiceover / Bedbound - 1M, 1F / The Small Things - 1M, 1F / Chatroom - 3M, 3F / How These Desperate Men Talk - 2M / Lynndie's Gotta Gun - 1M, 1F + one non-speaking boy
