Goodbye Vaudeville Charlie Mudd
Set in Edwardian Melbourne, this play is an evocation of a forgotten past—a play about pain and cruel desire; about the need for laughter, the palaces we build for it, and its human cost.
Review
‘… a deeply accomplished work: darkly beautiful theatre that resonates in the intimate chambers of the mind.’
The Australian
Return to Earth
Edges on the whimsical but is ultimately lyrical and profound. It is a poignant play that tenderly captures the moment, often littered with casualties, when a young person moves from transparency to opacity, from childhood to adulthood—a period of intense loss and confusion.
Review
‘The parallel universe of Lally Katz’s imagination is an estranging, breathlessly anxious, uneasily hilarious place.’
The Australian
