A rich selection of Nicholas Wright's earlier work.

The Custom of the Country
Based on the Jacobean play of the same title but set in Johannesburg, this play is 'a  superbly sophisticated piece' - City Limits

The Desert Air
'A bitter and hilarious tale of British hamfistedness and low cunning in the Second World War'  -  Sunday Times

When the son of Melanie Klein, Britain's most controversial psycho-analyst, is reported killed in a climbing accident, it provokes a competitive display of family skeletons that has made Mrs Klein a popular hit.

One Fine Day
'A superlatively unpatronising comedy about the gulf that separates Britain and Black Africa' - Guardian

Set in Cape Town in 1952 and offers an arresting view of Wright's own rebellious boyhood in his native South Africa.

Cast : The Custom of the Country - 10M, 3F / The Desert Air - 16M, 2F (doubling required) / One Fine Day - 6M, 1F / Treetops 4M, 4F
